Every time I think I've conquered trusting, God brings an even bigger challenge my way... and suddenly I feel like I'm just starting out; taking baby steps; learning to trust all over again.
Psalm 25:12-13a - "What man is he that feareth the Lord? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose. His soul shall dwell at ease..."
These verses caught my eye in my devotions recently. The Lord used them to remind me that He is choosing the best path for me based on the things He needs to teach me! (and I obviously need to learn a big lesson in trust!) The sweet promise that follows is that going HIS way means that my soul shall dwell at ease.
I don't have to panic when there's a problem. I don't have to try to fix the problem myself! What I need to remember is that none of it is a problem to God. He has already taken care of it - the answer just hasn't been revealed yet.
Yay, finally started your blog!!! :) The first post was great! A really good reminder to trust the Lord.
ReplyDeleteGod probably gives us greater challenges because he doesn't want us to ever feel that we've conquered trusting. He always wants to rely on him!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny because I was about to ask last night when you would get a blogpost up, but forgot :)
